My latest comic, “GreenScreen”. No.01 Kickstarter in August 2021

The Avant-Garde-ians: formerly the “Super-Manifestos” from “Plastic Babyheads”. Maybe this will be something. Maybe not. Time will tell.

Here’s one of my more recent diversions. Flaming Carrot: A fan-fiction tribute to Bob Burden’s great hero.

101 page, 6″ x 9″ b & W graphic novel. Nice Work is the story of Johnny DelGatto; "Johnny Cat" to his friends; Frank Sinatra look-alike, stand--in and doppleganger, and his girlfriend Jo Jo, courtesan to Presidents and mobsters in the heyday of Camelot, the Rat-pack and the not-so-innocent early 1960's. In the orbit of Kennedy & Sinatra when they were the hottest stars on the planet, Johnny & Jo find out when you get too close to the sun, you're liable to get burned.

Dr. Speck!; excerpts from issues #1-5 story, images and characters by ©Geoff Grogan

Dr. Speck was my entry into the small press, b& w boom of the 1990’s.  To quote the intro in issue #3: “Caught…in a dangerous experiment, Dr. Adam Speck-particle physicist extraordinaire-has been reduced to atoms! But that’s O.K.-his friends think quick!! Fellow Scientists Tabba Gundiaka & Dot Seurat find a new use for an old household appliance & pull Dr. Speck together again.  Yet-in the process Dr. Speck experiences the essence of existence and wonders, “What does it all mean?”

Dr. Speck has strange telepathic visions which send both he and his friends on a journey half-way around the globe, to the Tibetan Himalayas–to the Sleeping City, and in answer to the pleas of a man who may guide them to places they never dreamed existed.
